The Grand National is over and my hopes of raking in the winnings are now dust. Imagine my surprise! *g*

13 of the 40 runners stayed the course and none of field appear to have been hurt. The result was:

So there was much sex and violence to be seen at work today. Yes, the ducks were back and it was all kicking off. Just had a phone call from a very proud father and Samuel George was born tonight at 5.50pm. Pretty quick labour this time round for Tracey, as her waters broke at 4pm or so.

Tracey's relieved that she's finally given birth, Dave's chuffed that they've now got one of each and new big sister Emily is delighted that she's finally got her pink bike. * ( Read more... )

Today has been even crappier than yesterday but things are looking up a bit. Manchester United scored three goals in the opening ten minutes of their FA Cup game so my brother will be turning cartwheels of joy.
